I always looked forward to having my new crow "tacked" and wearing the bruises with pride. However, getting my EAWS pin tacked on by the skipper was a highlight. I worked my ass off for that. I didn't attend classes to get a PQS signed off, I actually went to all of the departments. Having Skipper Jackson pin that on me (shortly after I got a NAM as well) was pretty awesome.
