What is your favorite military Patch, Medal or Badge?

For me it’s my Marine Sharpshooter award.

I’m going to say my Combat Medic Badge, although it doesn’t mean as much as it used to before they changed the requirements for it in ‘04.

My favorite medal is my Joint Service Commendation Medal. But as far as patches go, 173d Airborne!!

The Tropic Lightning , 25th ID (Electric Strawberry)

For me the American Flag and also 2nd ID ( Always loved the Indian head in a star ) worn while I was in Korea

Not a combat patch, but there were times.

What?!? Nobody put this??? We ALL did in one form or another!

Above all, the flag of our Nation the most beautiful flag of all, especially now, as a retiree I still wear it. Then my Drill Sergeant Badge as a mark that I trained New Soldiers. My Combat patch of the 10th Mountain is right up there. But I'll have to say, my Dads Korean War patch, one that is not common among Korean War Veterans. It is the GHQ/FEC purple flag with gold GHQ in the center. My Dad was MY HERO.
