What is your favorite military Patch, Medal or Badge?

Partial to the combat stripes. Worked Hardest for AASLT badge - mostly because I was on the wrong side of 40 and broken. But I agree that the flag brings me the most pride.

Of course, I really like that DD214, nowadays.

You never hear of them - but they are always on Guard protecting our diplomatic embassies,
but a shout goes out to those Marines in the Diplomatic Protection Garrisons. Thank you!

Shoulder Patch: Big Red One (1975-1979) - 1st Division (Forward)

A certain patch from Pohang, Korea encouraging people to either travel there, or remain silent.

Earning the Flash and Crest of the USAF TACP (Tactical Air Control Party/JTAC). 12,000 +++ push ups in a three and a half month course...

For me it is my first combat unit. (Vietnam). The BLACKHORSE patch. 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. The Officers and enlisted were the finest men I have had the pleasure to serve with.

My fathers WW2 boilers mate and Bronze star always played with them as a kid. Being former Armor 2nd Armored division Hell on Wheels. that and the 101st Screaming Eagles along with the Congressional medal of honor, purple heart and the our nations flag.
