Pre-9/11: Some people in my unit had the CENTCOM patch from Desert Storm as their combat patch, and were apparently allowed to the wear the desert color version on their woodland BDUs. I thought that looked cool.
Post-9/11: Was attached to the British Royal Marines for the invasion of Iraq. Always wished that I could have worn their patch as my combat patch.

7th ID. Always thought the black widow/hour glass was super cool.
