I have been involved with many organizations that cater to veterans. Some of them just cater to Post 9/11, some for women etc. What organizations have you been involved with? Are they only located in your state? Do they have a website?
My favorite two are:
The Mission Continues which is for Post 9/11 veterans. NATIONWIDE!

And the F7 Group which is for WOMEN in and around the uniform (including fire, police, rescue etc). F7 is located in Austin, Texas and hosts several retreats a year (I've been to 2... and they are AMAZING!!!!
