Also home of actresses Ruth Gordon and Lee Remick. Dunkin Donuts and Howard Johnsons both started in Quincy. The current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and the Army G1 are both Quincy natives. Well, contrary to popular belief, Osmond, NE has nothing to do with the Osmond Brothers or Donnie and Marie. Instead the .80 square mile town of approximately 800 people is known as the Christmas town of Nebraska (this is news to me). And the town is featured in a song/video by Tom Roth called, "My Favorite Little Town". (That, I did know.)
