Be prepared for readiness numbers to plummet because it's not going to work right for the first 6-12 months. More after hours conference calls...

And then the next version will roll out and wash, rinse, repeat.

Is it going to finally keep my Hep. A shot updated? Because if so, I'm totally in support of it!! I've received no less than 12 Hep. A shots since 2004. Doesn't matter how much I beg, plead, cajole, or get written record... if it's not in the system, it just doesn't count. MEDPROS hates me.
Can't be very healthy, either...

This is a robust redesign that increases communication between the medical team to the Command and will hopefully lead to more accurate decisions on deployability and availability. The new profile system will hopefully shows SMs abilities despite medical conditions as opposed to limitations for a given diagnosis.

Wow CSM Davis Heidke, that's pretty harsh. You should read the the Army Surgeon General's 2025 plan before you choke. We are moving from a reactive readiness standard to a proactive one.

Yes . We discussed this on ALC last week , some vignettes. I think the Army has tightened its belt and probably and I think if this thing comes into play 1 Oct, this is one way to weed people out. But how about those that has legal, legitimate injury but they are still doing their job in the Army? In my opinion, we have allowed the "sexual preference" persons in the Army to continue to stay in as long as capable of doing their job so for this I think its has to be fair also both ways. I am sorry this is a sensitive topic but I believe this is a new tool to stop malingering. The non-deployables are hurting the Army as well as hampering it. I like the new SMA he listens to Soldiers but with Changes also will be changes to regulations. It is true what they say the "infantry mind" does not die so that's I think is his mentality. To be able to fight and get up and win wars.
