In the last 20 years, global combat has seen a steady shift towards the use of private military corporations, or PMCs. But what happens when the highest bidder becomes the world's next superpower?

PMCs are a great place for vets to go and make the kind of money that the Military can't offer which probably speaks to why most of their employees are vets. But when you think about what they pay for versus what we don't,our salaries probably aren't that much different. I don't think it will ever get to the point where we would have to worry about the PMC's taking over or an enemy of the US using them against us. The logistics of consolidating all the companies into one would be a nightmare and since most employees are vets, getting them to turn on their countrymen would be unlikely. Heck, I'm considering a PMC as a possible career choice after the Army is done with me.

PFC Minchey,

I do not see how that would happen as where would the Command and Control be? What nation would allow an entity to hold a home base in their country for said corporation?
