15T UH-60 repairer. Heck no I wouldn't change it. It took me 6 years in 2 other specialties to get it. Even on the days where I'm bored or tired of all the nonsense I can look out the window I'm licking and say to myself "How many people do you know can say they ride in a Black Hawk for a living?"

As a crew chief, unless we're deployed, I'm just along for the ride since there's no gun to man... unless we have pax.. then they're the window lickers. Prior to being a 15T I was a MP and a Cav Scout.

SGT Greg Welch , Aviation is 15 series now. UH-60 guys are 15T, Chinook are 15U, etc. The F identifier still denotes flight status.

11B, I'd only change it to go SF or flight WO.
That is until my knees implode.

I always thought it was weird that the Marines have an Infantry Warrant and the Army doesn't.

6046 Maintenance Administration - At the beginning, I would have changed it. I was pissed when the "needs of the Marine Corps" put me in a job I didn't want. But I grew to love it and even years after separating, I'm still doing the same job.

811X0, Security police, security supervisor - I was a security specialist for 16 of 20 years with a 4 year assignment as a recruiter. Security was the only way to go, had no desire to do LE duties.

Hell no I wouldn't change it. It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

2531, Field Radio Operator. As a Radio Operator, you knew what was going on around you, and could call for support when needed. I loved my job.

Currently a Paralegal (5J0X1) in JAG. An alright AFSC, just makes for some long days depending on what area you work. Would like to go Defense Attaché NCO (8P100), I augmented as one for a year-long tour a while back and loved working at the embassy.
