What is your real purpose for posting on RP: Inspire, Inform, Inquire, Incite, Insult, or other. The last 2 don't belong here IMO. Thoughts?

I like to read the point of view of other servicemen/women from different times of service. Even if we disagree there is often mutual respect given for the person and/or the point of view due to our service.

I like to be informed, educated, and learn from those with much greater insights and experiences than I; to reminisce about how it was in the 'old days', to be inspired; to be entertained through the 'golden oldies' of an earlier generation; to be uplifted by biblical and religious expressions of various faiths; to be astonished by the amazing proliferation of fake news on a regular basis.

Makes sense to me.
