I am glad to say that my strongest memory of my time in the MFO is of the Sunrises and Sunsets at South Camp, which were always beautiful.

I miss the sunrise, futball games in the gym, camaraderie of my teammates, and darts on Thursday night.

Enjoyed the time, but don't really miss it. Each tour anywhere has its up and downs and this one was no different. Lots of great memories but biggest was the Huey to Black Hawk transition.

They still have a Huey chassis on the O-course to practice loading/offloading. It's still painted and everything. Cool peice of history.

I was in North Camp, but made plenty of trips to South Camp. I would have to say my best memories were all during my travels to Israel while I was there though.

I made it to Israel as well--great opportunity! I almost didn't get to go as we had limited slots and we're letting Soldiers have priority. I'm glad I did it though. I wouldn't have done it from the States, but since I was already close, it was too easy.
