At the end of this year i'll hit the 5 year mark in my military career. Although I do enjoy my MOS I truly doubt i'll continue doing this throughout my military career or even my civilian career once I do decide to get out. In your opinion which MOS do you feel benefits the most when switching from military life to civilian life?

If you can get a 4 year degree 51C will directly get you a Contract Specialist job with any government agency

Honestly bro, there are some MOSs that better translate to civilian careers, but it comes down to the individual. What are your interests and what potential career path or at least industry do you think you'll want to pursue when you get out?

Everyone's transition from military to civilian life will be different. I don't think anyone MOS really "translates" to a civilian job. It's how much effort you put into finding a job - like the effort you put in a resume and finding contacts. Or utilizing some of your NCOs or former NCOs as contacts. Example - I'm still in contact with my first CSM and he's retired. I'm sure if I needed help with a reference or contact he'd help me out.
