RP Members, Connections, and Friends I believe there are some really outrageous nicknames that have been handed out to some of you when you served in the Military. Lets' get them out there and don't be embarrased. Please share! This is one of those Posts that just keep giving over time. RP Members keep adding your nicknames.
Don't leave us hanging - share the story behind the nickname too!!
One of my many was: "Burly" and when I was a PFC/E-3 it was "Horse Collar!" Others I can't repeat from Basic Training - use your imagination!

I got Vapor Trail and Alien girl in basic, but I don't remember why. I got Crisis later on, because my last name is Crites. The copier broke down when I was using it and jammed. The SSgt and I were on the floor trying to clear the jam and the TSgt walked in. He asked what we were doing and when he found out it broke while I was using it, he gave me the name Crisis and it stuck. Everytime he and the MSgt saw me they would sing "They call her Crisis, Crisis."

My last name is Musikasinthorn, so I was “alphabet” and “M16” in basic. But thank God it became just “Musik” after training ended.

Seeing as how My Name is "Robert Lee" I became known as "General Lee" and has followed Me to this Day. Even though I was out of the Military the name just stuck and has never gone Away.

“Highlander” because my last name is Hyland. Every time my 1SG walked by he would say “there’s only one or there can be only one” per the movie. I was quite a bit lder so my guys called me “old man” or “dad” lol.

In Basic Training I was know as Charlie Brown, mainly because with my bald head I looked like charlie brown (When I was thinner and much younger) Then During my First Hitch my tem leaser SGT Poole walked in my barracks room during weapons cleaning, I had gotten a cleaning rod stuck in the barrel of my M16, he walked into me smashing this jammed cleaning rod and my upper receiver of my M16 into the floor of my room, coupled with my last name which is Ramsey, and I was ramming the rod on the floor I became Ram-Rod, it was then changed to Hot-Rod by my next Team Leader SGT Sibley, why? I have not a freaking clue... LOL

I was a pretty good pool player and we had a table in the barracks. After one night of beating everyone, the "brothers" started calling me "cool breeze". I really liked the name and it stuck.
