What nickname were you given when you served in the Military?

RP Members, Connections, and Friends I believe there are some really outrageous nicknames that have been handed out to some of you when you served in the Military. Lets' get them out there and don't be embarrased. Please share! This is one of those Posts that just keep giving over time. RP Members keep adding your nicknames.

One of my many was: "Burly" and when I was a PFC/E-3 it was "Horse Collar!" Others I can't repeat from Basic Training - use your imagination!

I was called 2 nicknames. One was "clueless" because I couldn't tell my left from right when marching, keeping cadence. The other was Peter Pan, for the simple fact I'd a pixie type hair cut and was short.

I was called 'Sargent Hard' when in Vietnam. I was a sargent in charge of 23 radio/linemen with an artillery unit, 2/11. I didn't show any favorites and expected things to get done when I told someone to do something.

Well it started out Boats was the nickname but after 4 years i decided this is not what I want to do, Soooo I switched rates to IC. So a new nickname was given ICEMAN. Then later people called me DIX because my last name is Dixon.So that stuck till i Retired.

I was called, "K_Rat". My brother, who was also in the Army at the same time, was called, "Rat". My maiden name was Raterink and people had problems pronouncing it, so it was shortened.

YANKEE was my nickname. First it was Yankee-Yankee because people had a tough time pronouncing my name, and the army had already given me this phonetic-alphabet radio code name (YY). The code was given for the first & last letters of surnames.
It just, naturally evolved to, simply, "Yankee."
Not too interesting a story, but it worked out well for me.

I was called "Stan the man." Not sure really were or how that came about other than the fact my last name started with Stan. I was the company driver for Lima 3/7 back in the later 1980's
