RP Members, Connections, and Friends I believe there are some really outrageous nicknames that have been handed out to some of you when you served in the Military. Lets' get them out there and don't be embarrased. Please share! This is one of those Posts that just keep giving over time. RP Members keep adding your nicknames.

Don't leave us hanging - share the story behind the nickname too!!

One of my many was: "Burly" and when I was a PFC/E-3 it was "Horse Collar!" Others I can't repeat from Basic Training - use your imagination!

My last deployment, my BN CO called me McLovin because I reminded him of the character from Super Bad

In Basic it was Baby Huey due to my last name and I was the youngest in the company. Later in VN I got the nickname of Barney Fife because I was skinny and shaky.

Mine was a combo of mother and a word not allowed on this site. I joined the Army at 17 am from Jersey and half Italian. I used that word a lot. So much so it became a nickname. Ahhh the early 90’s the Army was uh different.

In AIT it was Urkel. The Drill Sergeant myself and everyone else found it hilarious.

Snake. I was surprised by s snake in a bunker on a temp LZ. I unloaded my M16 on him full auto. No snake, no blood trail. The entire hill went berserk thinking we had been hit again. After the ass chewing my CO dubbed me Snake.

My most common nickname was Doc or Doc Mood. But when I first arrived in boot camp, my personal gear included a rifle and I quickly earned the derisive nickname "the nut with the gun."

My nickname was Mouse. Someone called me Mighty Mouse and it got shortened to Mouse. Stayed with me for a lot of years. I'm not sure why I was first called Mighty Mouse, but I'm small anyway so the shortened Mouse fit just fine. I miss that nickname.
