RP Members, Connections, and Friends I believe there are some really outrageous nicknames that have been handed out to some of you when you served in the Military. Lets' get them out there and don't be embarrased. Please share! This is one of those Posts that just keep giving over time. RP Members keep adding your nicknames.
Don't leave us hanging - share the story behind the nickname too!!
One of my many was: "Burly" and when I was a PFC/E-3 it was "Horse Collar!" Others I can't repeat from Basic Training - use your imagination!

I am a large individual and having a shaved head my Lt. gave me the nickname Bull after Richard Moll's character of Bull on the 80's comedy Night Court. Every morning my Lt. would come into my D-fac, make me stand under a light and say the lines from the show just like Bull did on the television show. 30 years later old friends still refer to me as Bull and even got a Texas Longhorn tat in South Korea.

My first NCOIC at Otis AFB Mass, Called me his Red Headed Futhermucker. I just laughed about it, he was a Master Sergeant and I was a E-1. Then when I was an E-4 stationed at Travis AFB I was called Radar.

I was in the Army from 1961 thru 1964 and made a lot of good, life long friends. Seems like almost all of us had or was given, a Nickname and this is what I was given.
