RP Members, Connections, and Friends I believe there are some really outrageous nicknames that have been handed out to some of you when you served in the Military. Lets' get them out there and don't be embarrased. Please share! This is one of those Posts that just keep giving over time. RP Members keep adding your nicknames.
Don't leave us hanging - share the story behind the nickname too!!
One of my many was: "Burly" and when I was a PFC/E-3 it was "Horse Collar!" Others I can't repeat from Basic Training - use your imagination!

Well I had few different nicknames, 1. Jonez: because my last name was Jones, 2. T.J. short for Timothy Jones and 3. Delaware because I was from the State of Delaware. I got questions like Delaware who? What state is Delaware in and where is Delaware?

I got two names in Basic. One from my former Marine drill instructor who called me "Short Shooter" (4 years of AROTC and rifle team) in high school. Second was from my PO1 who was 5 feet 1 BadA$$ drill instructor who called me "Capt" I was the oldest in my class. He said I carried myself like a Captain but fought like a Ground Pounder!
