RP Members, Connections, and Friends I believe there are some really outrageous nicknames that have been handed out to some of you when you served in the Military. Lets' get them out there and don't be embarrased. Please share! This is one of those Posts that just keep giving over time. RP Members keep adding your nicknames.
Don't leave us hanging - share the story behind the nickname too!!
One of my many was: "Burly" and when I was a PFC/E-3 it was "Horse Collar!" Others I can't repeat from Basic Training - use your imagination!

When I got to my 1st permanent duty station, my platoon sergeant called me squirrel, because I'd climb all over the Helicopters working on them. After the sergeant major had given me accommodation letter for my work, he called me sparky. An that one followed me through out my time in the army, and also when I was working for a civilian contractor repairing the army's helicopters and other aircrafts(after etsing the army). A spark is a spark no matter what system your working on.

Cpt Ice. I had a reputation of being firm. When one of my staff was facing a crisis. I was able to them through if. I remember someone saying “even ice melts sometimes “ I chuckled and said don’t let that get out! So whenever I arrived at a new duty station it was Cpt Ice!

Shoes. After a quick lunch and before "resume ships work", I would try to get a few Zs. I wouldn't bother to take off my shoes when I lay in the rack. The Sr Watch Officer would always come by my rack and wake me up. He said all he could see from the passageway was my shoes in the top rack.
