RP Members, Connections, and Friends I believe there are some really outrageous nicknames that have been handed out to some of you when you served in the Military. Lets' get them out there and don't be embarrased. Please share! This is one of those Posts that just keep giving over time. RP Members keep adding your nicknames.
Don't leave us hanging - share the story behind the nickname too!!
One of my many was: "Burly" and when I was a PFC/E-3 it was "Horse Collar!" Others I can't repeat from Basic Training - use your imagination!

Waco. Most folks could not pronounce my last name, so WACO was born at my first duty station, Fairchild AFB.

Sgt Kenneth Zwirner
The best four years of my life, and I am now in my 70's. I would go back in tomorrow if I could. Still in touch with three families from 49 years ago. I LOVED IT!!! Best training too, made a career out of my training for over 45 years and enjoyed going to work EVERY day. Thank you Uncle Sam and the great USA!!! I would recommend it to any young woman or man for a great time. I was lucky. lost and not knowing what to do with my life, I even meet my lovely wife while I was serving. GO FOR IT!
