I've already completed SSD 1s, Finished my corresponding courses and currently being retrained to become a licensed driver for nearly all Army Tactical Vehicles and Forklifts. Aside from that i've also started College Credits and i'm at 30 SH. APFT and Weapon Qual. are good too.

Good Question and good job getting started on your promotion. Check out AR 600-8-19. Specifically, Chapter 3
You say SSD1 is complete and that your weapons qualification and APFT are good.
You need to work on your college credits - this will help you once you exit the Army as well.
That leaves board point. Well, have you considered getting in some practice attending boards? Talk to your Sergeant about going for a Soldier of the Month board. That experience can be invaluable. It helps give you a little more poise when you go into the board with your career on the line. Once you get promoted, keep up with your paperwork.

When the Army changed the point system they really focused on civilian education, that is your best bet. I believe if you acquire an associate degree then you would max out the civilian education point system.

Some advice I can give, when you're at the promotion board, it's not always about how much you know, but showing you're ability to find the information you need to know by at least being able to name those resources.
When you're asked a question by the 1SG, that you don't know the answer to, will you name that AR or FM? Or will you say you're going to ask someone online for the answer?
