What problems will I face if I broke my profile while going through a med board and awaiting orders to get out?

I had a altercation with a NCO at a range and after I wasn't thinking and was told to go shoot some of the ammo left over and I did it. I was unaware of it but My profile says that I can't fire a individually assigned weapon. It was brought up today by the NCO that I had a altercation with to my NCO. I'm going through a med board and awaiting orders to get out. Where does this leave me?

Probably in a world of hurt, especially since you've engaged everybody and Their grandmother from PVT to LTC from all stages of life; active, reserves, veterans and retired in a public forum on a military centric social media site in minute detail of your conversation and actions. Only thing missing is the u-tube video.
Good heavens stop broadcasting, if it looks like a shit-storm is coming at you over this go see JAG.

Sound like my former 1SG...
Sparky..........you sure do kill me with your questions. How the hell do you NOT know what your profile states? If I were your NCO....I would not have even HAD you at the range. Another question, how is it your Chain NOT know about your profile? Did you not divulge your profile limitations on purpose or due to a massive brainfart? The fact that you are NOT to be touching weapons.....and you did.....you can be serious toast. The fact that you had an altercation with an NCO.....you are toast (depending on the type of altercation). Did you know about your profile limitations and violate it on purpose to possibly fry your Chain for allowing you to violate the profile. Personally, if it were up to me, I would recommend you for an Article 15, Company Grade at the minimum.

I got into a verbal altercation one time over a profile. It was because i knew what it said and the NCO tried to make me violate it. When i still refused he got our head medic involved who out ranked both of us he took one look at my profile said I was right and that ended the story. Moral of the story know what's on your profile and if your going to argue with someone higher rank make sure your right and do with tact.

Sounds to me you were looking to gain an advantage by firing your weapon. You realize your responsible for you first and foremost right? You act like a man your treated as such. I think your NCO also holds some responsibility here too, he should know your status. I'd punish both of you for this bullshit, it's too petty to have to deal with.

PV2 (Anonymous) so if your profile says that you cant do something, and you have your profile on you. Why didn't you provide the NCO with the said profile.
just as an aside, it's nice to see that even in these days of limited budgets and training, the Army still makes sure that the troops have "left over ammo" that is just blown down range by a soldier who is getting out so that no one has to go through the hassle of turning it back in. :)

I can’t find it! I mean that map of a buried ammo stash at Camp Roberts given me by an SF friend.

That's the sad story now a days.. I join last year and I will give the Army another 6 year after my first 3. Just because I believe that not all units are the same..hopefully I not wrong.. but yes some Ncos don't care at all, they just say I been here 13 years I just need 7 more so I won't kill my self..
