Has anyone been paid out for a re-enlistment National Guard bonus? My anniversary date was Feb of this year, I am aware of the GIMS situation. I have contacted my unit retention NCO, education office, and DFAS. I have not gotten a solid answer on the process. I keep getting the answer that my bonus is currently at DFAS awaiting payment. I had a NCO check GIMS and all it states in the payments tab is “TL Payment Submitted” and “Awaiting Reconciliation”. Any information on what any of this means and how closed I am to expecting a LES would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

TL Payment Submitted means that your unit has submitted your bonus payment information, and it has been processed and sent to DFAS for payment. Awaiting reconciliation is waiting for DFAS to make sure that the numbers are correct, and for them to pay it. Your anniversary date was February but when did your UA submit the information?

CPL (Join to see) - With the information you have from GIMS, it seems that DFAS has the documentation for your bonus. To be honest, until you receive payment, or submit that inquiry, I don't think you're going to get solid answers.

SGT Javier Silva this is a screen shot of what was sent to me in GIMS , so you do believe it is with DFAS then? Thank you again for your assistance!

I recommend making sure your bonus addendums and DD4 have been iPERMed. That’s the #1 cause of delayed payments
