MVP was founded in 2015 by Fox Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer and former Green Beret and Seattle Seahawk Nate Boyer. They wanted to address the challenges that combat veterans and former professional athletes face in transition once the uniform comes off.

MVP empowers combat veterans and former professional athletes by connecting them after the uniform comes off; providing them with a new team to assist with transition, promote personal development, and show them they are never alone.

Easy. Pat Tillman.
He lived a very examined life. He strived to a set of ideals and maintained standards few can say they have accomplished, all with a massive heart. His sense of service, compassion, honor, humble leadership, and a burning passion have been a guide post for me to strive to.

Pi have many professional sport's players that inspire me. Wayne Gretzky, his professionalism, integrity, l8ve of hockey. He is forever a man's man in the game. Jeff Gordon, a true race car driver that went through a lot of diverse conditions in professional and private issues has remained a Pilar of excellence on the track, broadcast booth, and manager. Love my sports

My inspiration is UFC fighter Nate Diaz. Nate is a ruthless athlete 20 min south of my hometown, he will never stop pushing himself and he’s such a great guy.

The athlete that inspires me is the same age as my grandson, is an NFL all star, great in all sports, Quarterback of the year several times, man of the year, and Superbowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes Quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs. The man is very talented, smart, and and responsible young man, smart business person and great husband and father. He will go down in history as the greatest Quarter Back ever!

Rocky Bleier was drafted by the U.S. Army in 1969. Eventually shipped overseas, Bleier was wounded in combat during the Vietnam War. Awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his military service, Bleier then began the arduous rehabilitation process on his foot that would enable him to return to professional football.

In today's era, Pat Tillman. For him to give up that type of paycheck to serve his country, that inspires me. I'm inspired by anyone who serves, but his dedication to leave the NFL, including a paycheck that would provide more for his own family, and serve is all the inspiration I need!

Reggie White…a man who was a gentle giant. He had total faith in His Lord and Savior, and never Shy’d away from giving a reason for his faith in Jesus. He was a great athlete, but more than that an upstanding citizen and Christian.
