What reasons have Veterans given you for NOT using Rallypoint?

I've told a few about it, but I rarely get a legit reason, which tells me it's laziness or they think it's all hype.

To be honest, I think most of the younger crowd think it's a little too "Joe Navy" (or whatever term your branch uses) to join RallyPoint. They like the military, but I think they just want to keep work at work, and not deal with anything military related on their free time. None of the people I know personally are on Rallypoint. There are actually a few, but they are all inactive members.
Also, I notice the majority of active members are Army and Marines. I don't think I've seen any Navy related topics since I've been a member. At least not while I was active.

They aren't as common, but someone just a few days ago posted about that sea-time badge Sailors wear.

SGT (Join to see) - I may have missed it, I don't recall anything about a sea-time badge though. I'll take a look at it though, thanks.

CPO (Join to see) - I don't know what it's called - the badge seemingly all Navy personnel wear.

SGT (Join to see) - I think I saw what you are referring to. The funny thing is, it was asking if we are still authorized to wear our warfare pins (badges) if we cross branch lol. Still good information to know though.

I'm relatively new to R.P. However, I've heard what seems like legitimate reasons for not continuing or taking a break from R.P. And it's this: Members say that they do NOT like the name calling and rabid arguing. They say that it breaks their attempts to have peaceful days. Others say that they merely need to take a break from R.P. and focus on other things for a while.
