Does anyone have information, a regulation for specifically, covering BAH Rate protection for an AGR member that is Command Directed to move Duty locations but remain in the same assignment? My Unit is moving to a new bldg. in another zip code and I heard rumor that if I was commanded to move them I will keep my current BAH rate but this goes against any PCS information that I find.

Your BAH is determined by the zip code of your residence, not the location of the unit. There are a number of post where there are multiple BAH rates within driving distance, any post in the Washington DC area as an example. If you are not moving because of the change of address of the unit, there should be no change in your BAH. If you do move, then you would get the rate in the location of your new residence.

Sorry, I am not correct on this one, The BAH is now figured on the MHA of the zip code of your duty station.
