You've been to military balls. Like me, you've seen a wide variety of ball gowns. What is an appropriate ball gown? What is not? Can you give or show example?

Although I do not agree with the dress or their conduct, I also do not agree on posting this picture without their consent. I feel that it was not really their fault because instead of someone stepping in and saying something, people just stood back and took pictures and talked behind their backs. I been to many balls and seen very inappropriate attire and behavior and there is always someone who comes (usually a chief) and removes that person from the event. Is that simple.

My wife and I attended several military balls (Air Force) and there was never anyone dressed closed to this woman.

I wouldn't even bother showing up with a date dressed like that. That's just embarrassing.

Obviously not the one shown. I'm not a dress/skirt kinda girl. Prefer blue jeans and t-shirt myself:)

I can't imagine seeing that "dress" on the red carpet in Hollywood.

I must agree with CSM Oldsen if someone made an inappropriate comment to her in hearing distance of the Captain who I think could be the spouse he would feel disrespected and then words and or fist could fly...

This is complete and utter disrespect towards the military. What ever happened to the whole "the way your spouse and children conduct themselves in public reflects the way you run your home" so therfore the kind of conduct being portrayed by your wife right now show complete disrespect in your home!
