The obvious answer to this question is undoubtedly a conservative one! For some reason some spouses feel the need to, for the lack of better terms, express themselves at formal functions and it is absolutely appalling! It’s a disgrace to the spouse that’s in the military, the unit, and worst of all their respective families. Just my opinion of course.

The stance May make the gown look even more scandalous than it may actually be. However, to judge from this photo, it appears she has no respect for herself nor husband. What was she thinking? Additionally, why did he think it was acceptable?
