I think we have all had a bit to drink at a ball, kicked our shoe's off and did some dirty dancing. Being military or military spouse, you still are supposed to have some etiquette. The dress would be fine for a close Christmas party or similar function but as a spouse it does state that we are supposed to keep military bearings as well as our active duty. If this was Michelle Obama doing this, what would our kids think, some would say do what she wants. Other countries would be mortified. We do need to have some class and bearing for our structure. It is sad to see that our country usually doesn't care one way or another.

Sad part is I know exactly what ball this was. I don't remember the exact year. I believe it was either 1999 or 2000 but it was 5th Groups ball. On a positive note, the Group Commander did tell him to leave and take his wife and if they wanted to return then she would need to be dressed appropriately.

Not only is the dress beyond inappropriate, her behavior is totally out of place. I'd expect to see this dress and behavior at a high school prom, as much as I hate to admit it, not a Military Ball.
