You've been to military balls. Like me, you've seen a wide variety of ball gowns. What is an appropriate ball gown? What is not? Can you give or show example?

The officer corps of yesteryear would have policed itself of this nonsense! How can you control the discipline of soldiers if you cannot contain yourselves as a couple? Makes no sense. You are always on display to subordinates, peers and superiors in the military...this does not cut the mustard gang...

Totally inappropriate at almost any function, military or civilian.

I see you got some "down" votes for this discussion. Looks like there are 10 ladies who were asked to "go change."

I've seen ladies wear this type of attire to formal functions and they become quite the spectacle. I love to "people watch" and she would've given me ammunition for at least three party conversations. Let's give credit where credit is due though. She is in amazing shape and obviously very proud of her physique. Who knows? Maybe she is a personal trainer but there is a time and place for a dress like this and I'm fairly confident that she didn't walk The Red Carpet that evening. As males, our eyes are drawn to areas that are both covered and uncovered. We look for the contrast and I'm sure all eyes were on her that evening. My question is what do WOMEN think of women who wear dresses like this at formal functions?

Show a little class. A proper lady would dress more appropriate.

It shouldn't matter what the rank of the individual, a LADY should never want to embarrass herself nor the gentleman escorting her. Furthermore, this gentleman should have manned up and checked her on this outfit prior to leaving their home.

You must be one of those GED's they let in when they couldn't get quality soldiers to enlist
