What's a tasteful military ball gown?

Very distasteful! She definitely should have been kindly escorted to the door

There is a time and place for everything, a formal Military Ball is probably not the time nor the place for that dress. Different venue, different group, Hell go for it. I like it to going to a nude beach; if everyone is nude than it is not that big a deal, its expected, but if you are the only one nude, there lies your problem.

If i were a higher ranks i prob ask them to leave. It look disrespectful to the military balls.

Dress classy not trashy

The dress is not proper for the eventt.

Was this in a foreign country? Perhaps this was a shock and awe tactic. Appropriate clothing concerns have come up a few times at military functions ball, dining out, etc that I have attended over the years. The standards of good taste still ring true. Best guidance I ever heard when it comes to "is this clothing appropriate?"---is "if you have to ask don't wear it!"

That is not a gown of class, it is a come to bed with me gown. It speaks to know one in particular.
