No. This is inappropriate. It is a BALL! This means gown attire/FORMAL wear. This is not the VMA's or the Grammys, or any other music award. This is a military ball. Military has dress guidelines and so should the others who accompany them!

We can all agree that this dress is far from Formal as far as Military etiquette goes. Is it appealing? Yes-No? My conclusion is; etiquette starts at home and subsequently filters to other areas. Her Husband should have had a civil conversation with his significant other and explained why it might not have been appropriate for the environment they were in, and if the advice given was not received then it would have been appropriate for the master of ceremonies to make a suggestion. The issue might have been resolved much easier with a memo on appropriate civilian formal wear prior to the ball

gross…not the dress but her dancing…save that for the private lap dance in your room…the only thing I see that she shoulda' accessorized with a pole...just sayin'
