You've been to military balls. Like me, you've seen a wide variety of ball gowns. What is an appropriate ball gown? What is not? Can you give or show example?

Nope...that "dress" is not appropriate. It doesn't appear that hubby is too thrilled with her dance style either. I would have been embarrassed.

It's a little risky For a formal ball I personally would not let my girl dress like that for a ball of this type

I consider this tasteless. This should never be allowed or even occur. What a disgrace to her partner's uniform. Very sad.

One would say something that don't show cleavage at all, more than likely she was showing her body off for one of his friends and that's just wrong show so class.
