What's a tasteful military ball gown?

It's a Ball not a club, it's supposed to be a classy event. I believe the picture you posted is not something that should be worn. The person you bring is going to be a reflection on you, I would want to give a positive image.

At last the photos of her here are classier than some I have seen of her. On these you cannot tell that she is going commando.

The dress itself is not that bad. If she had stuck to slow dances or anything less energetic there would be no comments. It does not show that much cleavage, and the slit up the leg is fairly common for dresses.

I believe that anything that looks pleasing but doesnt look like your going to the porn awards the photo on the original post is gross, i don't want to see her vag popping out while enjoying a military ball.

The gown should be a formal one that fits the individuals body with no slits up the thigh or deep cleavage and flows down to floor length.

The captain in this picture should of taken his wife shopping; evident she is not mature enough or has common sense not to dress like a stripper at a unit function let alone a ball. Where was the CO and CSM. They should have stopped them a the door and turned them around. I might be old school; but the ildea of showing off your wife in public as a lady and not a tramp. That they can do in the privacy of their own home.

Anything and anyone dealing with the military should be represented with dignity and respect. Obviously this is neither.

a tasteful military ball gown fits tastefully with out revealing everything that God gave you. A simple black dress can be very tasteful if worn with the correct accessories. modest is always better than gaudy.

you can dress sexy without having everything hanging out. as a female i understand you want to look good, but you have to remember where you are and as a senior nco's wife you need to set an example to the younger women.

I would like to point out that she is dressed trashier than they dressed for the globes this year. That being said, the porn stars were dressed classier than the women at the globes. It is sad when women can not have enough respect for themselves to dress as though they are expecting to get laid on the dance for. Also, what the hell is up with the dance style she is demonstrating? Very inappropriate for a formal gathering, even for her age. It is disgraceful and she should have not been allowed to walk into the door. I would have told her to leave immediately.

Chest covered, gown flows to the floor, no waist high slits, or ability to see the crotch.
