I think they went very well. I think it was a historic event. Yes they could back out of what they promised. We will see in a year but I think the President deserves praise for what was accomplished if it moves forward. We really gave up nothing if the process moves forward. We have no reason to war game a scenario that isn't likely to happen. Our Resources are better spent elsewhere where they are needed. If in a year things aren't looking like they are moving forward we continue the war games. Nothing lost except now we know the only solution is a military one. Either way I think the U.S. comes out on top. If things workout I don't think we could have asked for a better outcome especially. If we end up with a peace treaty that actually ends the Korean War. Which we have been trying to accomplish since the 50s.

They have backed out of far more detailed deal for times in the last few years, Nothing historic about that at all. Other than a US president praising a murderous psychopath that is.
Not to mention if we have to fight our forces will be less prepared

We cannot be the world's police force. If we gain denuclearization it's a win. We have already completed this years war games. We lose nothing in the deal. Denuclearization is our only concern how he treats his people is their problem. Freedom can't be given ot must be earned. We have learned that in Iraq and Afghanistan. If the people rise up and overthrow him. All the better we can't be running around the world telling people how to treat their country men. Denuclearization of the Korean peninsula is our only goal. If it happens he did a great job and didn't pay billions to get it done. All it cost us was a little of the Presidents time. If it doesn't happen at least it didn't cost us billions. Plus us giving them the fuel for the weapons. Which is what Clinton did. I can't understand how people can't see this as a positive unless. You just hate our president that bad. In which case shame on you he is the President of The United States. Whether you like it or not he was elected he should be respected. I don't agree with everything he does but I show respect for the office. I dont wish for him to fail because thats stupid if he fails the country fails. Show some optimism.
