SSG Ed Mikus isn't being sarcastic, from my experience. Also, I think you should lean forward and figure out which additional duties you'd like as a CPL or SGT - CBRN, ATRRS, IMO, Weight Control, Remedial PT, Key Control, etc. The list goes on and on.

I guess that would depend on where you're at.
If it's anything like I've witnessed, you will be used for details 98% of the time and fueling 2%.
