It really depends on where you get assigned, you will either be in the GSB or an FSC. The BN your assigned to makes a difference if your in an FSC because each BN has a different mission set. Regardless of placement all of our 88Ms get their civilian CDL, just about everything we move is by civilian simi truck. You will learn everything from forklift to RG33 and be expected to know how to drive and operate them in lots of different environments. Also be prepared to learn other jobs, like 89B as most of what we ship is ammo. If you would like more information please fill free to send me a message, I am in 10th group and have been here a long time so I if you have any questions just ask.
Bring your A-Game. Yea, you're gonna be part of their Support BN....but they're still gonna expect your A-Game
I don’t know what the Support Battalion is like but I can tell you that I received two Soldiers that has been assigned there and were reassigned to 4th ID. They enforce their Standards period.
