Been hearing a lot of negative comments about 2 I.D since I’ve been in-processing here at Camp Humphreys

Korea has a lot of... restrictions. 8th army aligns a lot of their restrictions with USFK and army regulation. They don’t add a whole bunch more. 2ID is a different story. 2ID will end up being the tip of the spear should anything go awry with the DPRK. So 2ID has a lot more restrictive policies that often seem excessive and unnecessary. Like changing the curfew from 0100 to midnight. Or having recall formations division wide because some BN that’s not even on the same installation as you isn’t 100 percent on their medpros

When I was there I wasn't under 2ID but they often complained about the curfew. Their curfew was usually earlier than everyone else's. 1130 for some. I'm not sure if it was all of 2ID or just certain units. But regardless Camp Humphrey is a nice base to be at. Curfew or not. It's really what you make it, like anything else. People usually would just start their fun earlier to compensate.
