The one thing I do daily to keep mentally healthy is to be thankful to The Creator for all the blessings He has chosen to provide for me and those whom I love. We are all chased by challenges and opposed by difficulties in our journey and by giving the first part of my day to God, I am able to see the options to keep mentally and spiritually healthy.

I was retired for many years before I admitted I have a mental problem. You see, in my days in the Army nobody had mental issues. But now that I finally admitted I need help, I realize I can't change the past but only look to the future and here-and-now.

When i have a stress full day i like to decompress by engaging in an activity that I love. For me my Vegetable garden is where I will specify not think of the stressors, preform breathing techniques, while weeding, pruning or harvesting.
