Go on regular dates with my spouse. Have family fun night at least once a week. Workout when possible or take a walk. Don’t feel guilty about taking a 30 minute nap when I’m feeling stressed.

Make sure and keep (or get) contact with people who will guide you to good things, prayer, Bible study, worship, mediation with the Lord: whatever you call listening to His voice. I feel for many military types who are not very much believers for most part. Its so cleansing, calming, relieving, joyful, and peaceful to give your worries, cares, and striving to the Lord, and receive His overflowing love. He loves you, is for you, and will not leave you, no never.

I believe in God, he is my number 1! I feel you should have added if you need a friend or a shoulder. The person may not believe in God but needs help, will you turn them away? I am always there for the people i my circle and they think I am this wise old woman. I do not know if I am wise, just speak from my heart.

I always alow myself "Me Time" so that I can reflect on what makes me special and makes me who I am. I use this time to focus on my mental health and take deep breaths and telling myself that I am accomplished and have a great life, every day I can open my eyes and see the sky I am having a good day.

As crazy this may sound I actually listen to myself when my brains says this is too much you need a break. By all means I am not bragging or trying to toot my horn but I can say that theres a point where I say to myself its time to calm down or walk away or think before you say something etc. Especially in traffic jams or idiots on the road. I dont have road rage butbI can clearly see how one can get it quickly and make a crazy wrong decision. I look at my passenger(s) and it makes you think twice beore doing something stupid. It sure is a lot of rolled up windows and cussing is a beautiful thing. With a little head movement it really looks like your singing along with a song on xm. Again this is not a time for me to brag or anything of that nature but I can say looking at your loved one and really thinking twice when they are there and not there helps a whollllllllllllle lot
