Sometimes the greatest lessons can be learned from someone who is lower ranked, younger, seems to be less intelligent, or less educated. Self actualization is a myth as we should be always striving to improve on our current self.

Be Honest, Be humble, know your people, and never expect anyone to do something you wouldn't do.

Always be willing to do something that you want someone else to do. Meaning if your not willing to walk a half mile to get fuel for the "genny", then tink twice before you ask someone.
