Listen and value the feedback given by those you command.

It takes less time to do it right the first time than to have to go back and correct it latter.

Be consistent, it is key to integrity

Lead from the front. Don’t tell someone else to do a chore you would not do yourself.

When there is a mistake made, what matters is how well does the person recover from the mistake to make thing right!

Listen to your NCOs, they know more than any second lt.

The best leadership advice I've received was from my CW3 when I was a PFC. He told me to become the NCO I wish I had. He said to remember what NCOs did not do for me and make sure I did do it for my troops when my opportunity came. Can't go wrong with that.
