There is no “thought” on it, an Officer is an officer and Enlisted is Enlisted. Don’t do it!

The answer is in the DA Pam. As long as the relationship was formed outside of work then it is allowed.

It is different for reserves than it is for active duty. It happens all the time. If you are dating before hand then find out later that you are both reservists and one is officer and one is enlisted just don’t hang out at drill. You can’t be in the same squadron either. There are many officer/enlisted couples in the reserves. My husband was an officer before he got out. We just could never work together at drill. Even in the civilian world with a large company they generally don’t let someone supervise family members.
