Hello Mates,
I've seen so many uplifting things since being a member of RP. If I have to pin down one thing, it would be the contributions of all the RP members. Being out of the military since 1996 , I find various conversations or views, rather positive or negative, on RP that piques my interest, so much that I have found myself responding RP members. Which is out of my norm.
It's also a way to see how member's views have changed over the years. Just the fact that RP members take the time to read other RP members' questions is not only beneficial to that member but also other RP members with questions or concerns with similar situations.

The most uplifting thing from RallyPoint I have experienced is the spirit in which this forum gives veterans like myself an opportunity to reflect and share my military experiences which hopefully benefits in any way whoever reads it.

Support for Veterans in a mental health crisis is the most powerful and uplifting thing I have seen on RallyPoint. Resources during a crisis feel few and far between, and the stigma we often associate with asking for help makes it even more likely we won't, which is why I appreciate the constant reminders of where to go and who to ask for help.

The most uplifting thing I see week after week it the brother and sisterhood amongst veterans. People who don't know each other, are from different backgrounds, with different experiences, and from different generations that share that one common thread...we are all veterans, willing to give our time, advice, and if needed direct assistance to another brother or sister-in-arms. I am amazed at the strength and resolve of veterans when we band together to help each other.

This is the most uplifting moment I have seen on Rally Point, a gentleman with a dream, a goal, a belief in himself, and an exceptional legacy built for his children to follow and thrive. This.

The fact that it is there, with a constant reminder that all veterans are part of a community and have a sense of belonging. I know that because of this fact, Rally Point saves lives.

The most up lifting thing I’ve seen I can’t attribute to one single event but rather it’s every time I see or read about people who help disabled vets selflessly and with out looking for recognition or expecting anything in return! They simply help out of the kindness of their heart and unwavering respect for our military and it’s veterans!

The love for the ones who served our country. Giving back to those who freely gave. Most of all, compassion.
