The policy isn't for smoking it's for tobacco products.

PFC (Join to see) the policy is tobacco products. If the school tells you to do something then that is the policy for it

If you want to be a super duper paratrooper, then don't create any doubt.

Per AR 600-63 smoking is not allowed except in designated smoking areas. E-cigarettes and like devices (vaping) are considered smoking, with the exception of vehicles. The regulation specifically states tobacco products may not be used in vehicles and while that is a grey area it's best not to test it.

That said you may be subject to command policies that further restrict the regulation due to the training environment or just because the command says so.

Additionally vaping in the barracks is typically a no go and usually states so in the housing policy. While housing policies are not typically punitive it's not a good idea with be pushing peoples buttons with technicalities. Great way to end up on someone's radar in a bad way.

You'll probably be allowed to vape in your down time in designated areas but if you're overly concerned about being able to do it I wouldn't bother and just give it up for the duration of the training. You'll also find vaping rules are enforced overseas depending on the unit, so that's something to keep in mind down the road.

What’s the regulation for vaping disposable vapes at Airborne?

In airborne school you can smoke and use tobacco products before and after training. At no point can you have them on you during training. True story, when I was in jump school a private got caught with a can of dip after our 5th jump, waiting for the busses and he was dropped from the course. Big no no.

And I’ve seen folks get in trouble for vaping in uniform or around certain areas, even if it’s not nicotine. Since delta 10 gummies https://www.exhalewell.com/delta-10-gummies/ and other THC products can pop on a drug test, I’d stay far away from anything related while on active duty. Doesn’t matter if it’s legal in your state—it can still screw up your career fast. Better safe than needing to explain yourself to leadership.

anyone’s seen any recent updates or stricter enforcement around vape use at schools like Airborne? I've heard mixed things depending on the unit leadership. Anyone here been through recently or have any insight on how it's being handled now, especially with all the push for regulation on disposables?
