To grow and develop spiritually, emotionally, physically, professionally, and personally so that in a year, I will shadow the man I am today by striving to be the husband and father my family deserves and the man my grandmother always expected me to be.

May I suggest a book, a book thst has helped me do the very things you described... Becoming Supernatural, by Joe Dispenza.
It should actually be mandatory for All who step upon the yellow footprints and cross the parade deck.

To spend more time with my kids, life is so short and we never know which day will be our last to make each second I spend with them better than the last and to hug them every single day. My new years resolution is just to be the best parent I can be

The fact this is a concern to you shows that you're doing you're best at your own speed and with that as your goal, time will only pass but with your heart in the right place so it's not wasted time.

(Made a double post by accident, my apologies. But finally ring that bell at Oncology because I've completed (and hopefully beaten) treatment for a nasty form brain cancer-a Glioma. And second, to continuously stay engaged in mental health treatment for PTSD, so my new marriage with my husband/ caregiver can continue growing!

My resolution is to become a happier, less stressed version of "me." In addition, I'd love to reach my weight loss goal of 160 lbs, meet new and interesting people, and revamp my wardrobe. I deserve it. I give of myself to my grandchildren and adult children unselfishly and unconditionally, and I need to demonstrate self love as well.

SSgt Janetta Zehrbach - I have. It was effective, but not for the long term. I used the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. which often became much later due to "life." There were many days I'd wake up, drink water, then psyllium husk fiber in water, and could go until the afternoon, if need be. My aim was to break my fast at 7 a.m., but it was usually at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. I love walking, but nearest trail which I love is a 24 mile round trip drive. I'd walk 10K steps which takes a while, and oddly enough, I never, over the years, gained a buddy who shared my love of walking and joined me. It as always something I did alone. Most miles I walked in a week 25. The disadvantage was the drive and the time. I live in a rural area.

Sgt LaFreda Gavin - I started with 12:12s and worked my way up to 18:6s with a 36-hour fast 1-2 times a week. Currently, I'm just doing 12:12s and that is enough to maintain for me. When I'm fasting I only do water and unsweetened tea/coffee. The longest I've fasted was ~40 hours.

I'm sorry it didn't work for you long term! I hope you find something that works well and helps you to achieve and maintain your goals.

Well, today was a great start. Oatmeal for breakfast and fresh lima beans for lunch. Thirty minutes on an aerobic step without risers with wrist weights.

I have often refer to myself as an introverted extrovert. Figure out what makes you happy. What gives your life balance? There is a necessary peacefullness in our solitude. Being the "loudest" one in the group is not always what we are looking for.

No. I don't want to be loud, just meet like- minded people. I moved about five years ago and haven't really made any friends. I moved to Jersey City and haven't really done the touristy NYC things. I lost 41hrs of PTO this year. I just have to get out more, like you said, and do the things I like.

My 2023 New Year Resolution is to not let this new cancer possibility (I am an 8 year survivor with a new "spot" that showed up on my annual scan) get me down. Good or bad,I am not going to let it destroy me. I am going to fight it out until either it gives up or my body says no more. I am going to keep the faith that God has my six.
