I want to finally give my kids a year of fun after spending the last 3 years being chronically ill.

Make time to heal. Cleanse my environment completely, practice more self care, spend more time around people who uplift me and spend more time doing things I love.

I plan to continue or increase my volunteering at the USO in San Antonio Texas to support our active military heroes, and to give back to the community that I revere and that is labeled Military City USA.

To continue to take care of my personal health/service connected injuries after years of focusing on everyone but myself.

Family, At the age of 51 I realize now how my ptsd has not only subdued my ability to make new relationships with people but my family has suffered for years because of it, With help from the VA I am now mending many relationships with my family. I am now making them my priority not only this year but forever.

My resolution is to use all the work I have done to get my PTSD in check, to hopefully be able to be a better husband and hopefully reconnect with my kids.

My resolution is to concentrate on myself. I have tried to help a brother who went to jail for many years. I helped him while he was incarcerated and after he got out. He is finally self-sufficient. I tried to help my sister who was battling Bi-Polar issues and she took her own life. Tomorrow will be 24 years she has been gone. She left 3 kids who I helped to varying degrees become young Women. I lost my Wife to cancer after taking care of her at home and raising our 4-year-old who will turn 24 in 2 months. 20 years since she has been gone, I did not date much nor remarried. My Father developed a Brain Tumor and had a stroke he only lived 9 months, My Mother fought Dementia, so I took care of her and all her Finacial stuff until she passed. Was able to sell her house and pass out all the Inheritance just a few months ago. Life is full of ups and downs, twists and turns. Many have suffered more than our family. I am thankful the good Lord blessed me the Stamina, empathy and love to fill the Gap when it was required. This new year I plan to work and help myself some. I have a lot to do and also a lot of nothing to do. Take it easy and re-evaluate my single status. Be kind to your friends and co-workers ... sometimes you have no idea what they are facing day to day away from work. Peace and Happiness to you all.

Continue in teaching 70 students about the catholic faith, volunteering at the food bank every Monday and Friday, to continue to facilitation of Grief Share class for those who have lost their loved ones at no cost, spend time with those who are sick and need of company just to set and listen and talk to them when they need someone around because they are lonely and afraid and finally to continue to be with my prayer group in public praying for those who are in need and those who need prayers and continue to fight for the unborn that our country has turned their back one because they do not recognize them as a person.
