What's your 2023 New Year's resolution?

To try to be able to accept that my wife of 46 years passed away on May 24th and that I will be okay.
She aways said she hoped she would go before me or that somehow we would go at the same time and then always added "If I would be ok." I always replied I would try to be.
So that is my resolution for 2023 - to try to be okay without the love of my life.

Resolutions will be to provide a more strategic way of getting more substitute teachers to school districts that need them. Fill the classrooms with subs that are more dedicated to specific school districts.

Continue to lose weight and gain muscle.
I want a 29-inch waist. I'm at 33".
Get to 14% body fat.
Run a 6-minute mile for 2 miles.
Squat over 320lbs for reps, i.e., 8 or more

2023: To have better control over my big emotions so I can be a better mom for my babies.

Work within my community to try to raise money to help homeless veterans get back on their feet.

To have more self control and discipline. To let go of all negative influences and thoughts that do me no good

Take care of my mental health and ensure my prior shipmates know they have someone to talk to when they’re in need.

I am now 70. I am just hoping to see some harmony and civility in our society before my time is up. I wear masks that have big smiles on them and will continue to try to be pleasant to everyone I meet. Have a great new year, all.

I am resolving to work on my values both in art and in life and to save $15,000 USD by year’s end.
