A few years ago my wife and I each lost 30 pounds by doing a 15 minute walking video and eating smaller portions. However we got lazy because of COVID and stopped doing the video. We are going to start up again and lose some of the weight we gained during COVID. It's not an easy thing, but it was rewarding in the past, even though it took many months to achieve the goal.

Definitely return to the mindset of being a life-long learner. I've been too complacent and relaxed about how things are going for me, to the point of feeling a little mediocre for not challenging my self to be better, to learn more, to get to higher places. That's about to change right now!

Try to focus more on bringing down my pain levels and figuring out how to overcome my injuries and become healthier so I can be here for my kiddos, so I can actually live life and not just wake up to exist.

I have a stack of cookbooks on my shelf. My New Year's Resolution is to work through all of those recipes, transfer the recipes we like to recipe cards, and give away the books.
