To live a better life, and not take anything for granted. I Lost my little brother Oct, 11 2022 , me and him were both in Iraq, we had plans to move to dunsmuir calif, but now that he is gone, I'm very lost. But it made me think, you have to live life in the moment, because in a blink of a eye, it can be gone.

My 2023 New Year’s resolution is to help more Veterans. It’s a goal of mine to make sure all veterans have food, shelter and transportation to the new nearest VA clinic to receive medical care.

To be humble and rare. Because PTSD doesn't fight fair. But in fact, it's not a resolution. It's just my solution to the next chapter in my life as not only a Veteran but as a mother to two amazing boys.

To show those that are lost in addiction that there is a dignified way way to return to a normal life by practicing spiritual principles and living according to those principles. A lot of Veterans return home lost and confused and have no idea what to do with the anguish and pain that they return with, so
they turn to Alcohol and/or drugs to cope with life after discharge. Addiction is a place of isolation and loneliness so this becomes their way of life and it often leads quite a few to commit the ultimate sacrifice , which is suicide. This stings every time I hear a new story because I once thought like that. But I met someone who eventually convinced me that I wasn't a piece of crap and I went to a Veteran's Administration Hospital and I have been sober ever since. My job in life life is to help other wonderful people come to understand that there is a solution for their addiction as well, especially veterans , because I am a United States Marine Corps Veteran. They deserve the life that I now live just as well . A little help from me could go a long way in bringing home another vet from the insanity which is addiction.

Continue where I left off with my Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling program before going into surgery. I have 2 classes to complete before they become "Incomplete Charged", and then finish off two more years to achieve this milestone. My goal is to be a certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and land a job in the VA, so I can help out my fellow veterans and assist in their needs.
Class of 2025, here I come!

Hopefully I can go back to school and get a degree or work study, under the VR&E Program. I stopped going to school under the VR&E program previously because the VA started using GI Bill money, (which I had transferred to my children), to pay for the VR&E. Long, sad story. This way I will be able to get a better job!

SSG (Join to see)
I used both FAFSA, Post 911-GI Bill and the Work Study program back in 2015. Found the Guam Vet center who provided a spot to do 50 hours max a month under work-study. I pursued Bachelors in Business Admin at the Local University here...then transferred to UMUC Asia on base, then transferred to Florida and did UMUC Adelphi and realized I had no way to do F-2-F classes (only online) so they only considered me Half time so less allowance monthly... I JOINED the VR&E program then where they ended up paying for rest of my degree (How I wish I could have covered all the past debt I had in my three years prior but oh well. I then got a job working at a warehouse for Technician side and utilized the Tuition Assistance (TA) which is now under the program called ArmyIgnited. Under that program they paid for IT Classes giving me 5 Vouchers to do my SEC Plus cert and I got a job to do remote work in IT field.
