Lake Powell. Was up there for a week with friends on a house boat. Everyday we were catching large mouth, small mouth and stripers. We were filling up the boat every time we went out.

Not sure I want to reveal my fishing hole LOL. I like fishing in Lake Michigan. Always or most of the time catch something.
My most successful catch was Lake San Antonio back in 88. I cast out and within 5 minutes had a 15 Big Mouth Bass on the line. That was a good day and some good eatin

Gasconade River, about 20 miles east of town, there are many access areas. Not a lot of fish, not the biggest fish, but always something and one usually has the place to oneself.

Is that because there is not a lot of fish? My dad once caught a 16# blue cat on a trout-line from there in the early 1950's.

SGT John Overby - Mostly crappies these days, and when they are biting there is a good time. When they are not, there is usually a perch or bass or two, usually decent size.
